A yogi/guru in a state of grace can influence other people in an absolutely pure and flawless way, with no attachment or negative outcome.  Unrestricted by ego, fear or desire, such a yogi/guru is almost weightless or transparent having let go of anything not serving him.  In this context, the quality of a guru is the extent to which there is a ‘heart to heart’ relationship with the student.
