tadā viveka-nimnaṃ kaivalya-prāgbhāraṃ cittam
Gravitating toward liberation, free from any sense of identify
When your mind is influenced by action on the one hand, but inertia on the other hand, your mind is thrown into confusion. At this juncture, it is inevitably pulled towards distraction/fleeting pleasure.
Through practice of the eight limbs of yoga, having left behind all attachments to the notions that used to trigger all kinds of reactivity, a natural state of harmony predominates. The yogi then sees with increasing clarity the fundamental distinction between Consciousness and temporary experiences.
