Knowledge of the arrangement of the body comes from saṁyama on the navel centre
The cakra’s (literally ‘spinning wheels’) are subtle energy centres in your body (also see: The Chakras explained and Chakra meditation (pranavashyauk.com)).
By focusing with perfect discipline on your navel cakra you can learn the plan of your body.
Your navel cakra is most important because it appears at the very onset of your life in the womb; you literally grew around this centre. As such, it is considered the calibrating linchpin for organising your entire body as all the nadi or energy channels flow from this point. In martial arts this is known as the dantian and is given special attention.
