Yoga sutra 1.22
mṛdu-madhya-adhimātratvāt-tato’pi viśeṣaḥ
Further, there are still differences between seekers on the yogic path; each person’s potential varies.
In this sutra Patanjali shows us that inner strength and potentials vary from person to person. That being said, the chances of success vary according to the degree of effort you put into the practice, which fall into one of three groups: mildly vigorous enthusiasm, moderately vigorous enthusiasm and strongly vigorous enthusiasm. Therefore, whilst every seeker on the yogic path may have different natural abilities, your level of commitment is important.
